Terms and Conditions
1. General Overview
This service provides private, customised guided tours in Japan for Australian travellers. Our services may include guided city tours, language interpretation, concierge assistance, restaurant and ticket bookings, and optional full escort services starting from Australia. All services are conducted by bilingual Japanese-English guides.
2. Booking and Payment
- All bookings are subject to availability and must be confirmed in writing.
- A 30% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your itinerary.
- The remaining balance must be paid at least 14 days prior to the tour start date.
- Payments can be made via bank transfer, PayPal, or other approved methods.
3. Escort Service (Australia to Japan)
If you book the premium escort service, your guide will accompany you from your departure airport in Australia throughout your journey in Japan.
Please note:
The client is responsible for covering the following expenses for the guide:
- Round-trip airfare between Australia and Japan
- Accommodation for the duration of the tour
- Basic daily meals and domestic transport costs
Unless otherwise agreed, standard economy class flights and mid-range accommodation will be selected.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellations must be made in writing.
- Deposits are non-refundable unless cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to departure.
- If cancellation occurs 14–29 days before the tour: 50% of the full fee is refundable.
- Within 13 days of the tour start: no refund will be issued.
- Airfare or third-party bookings (hotels, tickets, etc.) are subject to their own cancellation policies.
5. Travel Insurance
All travellers are strongly encouraged to purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, cancellations, and lost luggage. We do not take responsibility for incidents outside our control.
6. Client Responsibilities
- Clients are responsible for their own behaviour, personal belongings, and adherence to Japanese laws.
- Any damage caused to accommodation, property, or public facilities is the responsibility of the client.
- Please inform us in advance of any medical conditions, mobility issues, or dietary requirements.
7. Itinerary Changes
Due to weather, public transportation delays, or unforeseen events, minor itinerary adjustments may be made. We will make every effort to provide alternatives of equal or greater value.
8. Liability
While we take all reasonable care in the organisation and delivery of services, we are not liable for:
- Personal injury, illness, or death
- Travel disruptions due to weather, natural disasters, or political situations
- Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings
- Third-party service failures (e.g. hotels, transport, restaurants)
Clients are responsible for their own safety and actions throughout the trip. Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect against unexpected situations.
9. Use of Photos and Testimonials
With your permission, we may request to use photos or written testimonials from your experience for marketing purposes.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan and Australia, and any disputes will be resolved accordingly.
