My name is Hide Hata, founder and lead guide of this travel service dedicated to helping Australian visitors experience Japan with ease, comfort, and cultural richness.
Born and raised in vibrant Osaka, I grew up surrounded by warm hospitality, street food culture, and the fast-paced energy of Kansai. After spending many years in Japan working in tourism and guest services, I moved to Brisbane, where I now live with my family and serve as a cultural bridge between Japan and Australia.
Fluent in both Japanese and English, I understand the expectations, preferences, and travel styles of both cultures. More importantly, I care deeply about making sure every traveller feels supported, welcomed, and at ease — whether it’s their first time in Japan or their fifth.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of guiding families, school groups, and corporate travellers across Osaka, Tokyo, Kyoto, Hiroshima, and beyond.
